What Is Project EXCEL?

The purpose of the Project EXCEL & Developmental Education Program at Florida Gateway College is to provide students who place into preparatory math or English courses (also referred to as developmental courses) with the support they need to be successful. It’s a chance for students to get extra support in ENC 0025 (Principles of Writing II), MAT 0028 (Elementary Algebra), REA 0017 (Principles of Reading II), and SLS 1101 (Student Success) so that they can graduate or transfer to a Florida-state four-year college or university. Learn more on our About Us page.
